4. Staff and Governors at the school are writing our Anti-Bullying Policy. And we need your help. We need to know your thoughts and ideas on how we can ALL contribute to everybody feeling safe and confident in and around the school. So, we asked Buxton Voices some questions and this is what they told us……

Being rude to people and not caring More than one person that keeps hurting people Causing people constant pain You do something constantly and when you are being mean over and over again Being mean to others Bullying is repetitive action Hurting emotionally and physically When someone constantly repeats acts of nastiness that offends a person Hurting someone’s feelings deliberately

11. We will also let you know the winners of the Slogan competition We will now look at all your ideas and discuss them with the school Governors. We will let you know what ideas make into the Anti Bullying policy

12. Misunderstood are back in town!! Next Friday for years 7, 8 and 10

13. To raise money for BBC Children in Need on Friday 14th November Buxton students and staff came in to school in their pyjamas (Primary) and literary heroes (Secondary). We managed to raise an amazing £1,448.20. Thank you to everyone, especially parents, who supported this project. In this picture Buxton Voices show off the cheque with pride.
