2 Above the wing fast moving air creates low pressure they are curved on the top.

3 Under the wing slow moving air creates high pressure. The high pressure causes lift. As you can see the bottom of the wing is flat.

4 Some birds have different wing shapes to make them fly different for example an eagle has long, broad wings for soaring and hovering.

5 Birds flap there wings to capture the air under there wings to create lift to fly high.

6 Now you know the difference between bird wings and airplane wings.
