President Needs to Grant Big and Broad Administrative Relief What can the President do?: 1) Grant affirmative relief to immigrant families – Grant deferred action to those individuals who would be eligible for legalization under S.744 and H.R. 15. This has the potential to affect an estimated 9.6 million people! – More modest proposals would extend DACA to smaller populations, such as: Employed adults (6.4 million) Individuals present in the U.S. for at least five years as of March 2010 (8.7 million) Individuals present in the U.S. for at least ten years (6.4 million) Parents or legal guardians of minor children (4.7 million) Parents or legal guardians of U.S. citizen children (3.8 million) Parents or legal guardians of DACA recipients (1 million) Individuals previously granted prosecutorial discretion (28,893)

Members of Congress: provide some funding to address the refugee situation but protect the children fleeing harm and ensure they have due process protections

11. What Can We Do? 1.VOTE and register and mobilize voters to punish the elected officials that failed to pass an immigration reform and continue to separate families! With their votes to defund DACA and strip protections for refugee children and families, the GOP still needs to hear from us and must be held accountable! 2.Call and tell the White House that our community needs a big and broad administrative relief NOW!
