2. Things Invented In The 1950’s Bottled beer was invented. Hula hooping was introduced. The first graphite pencil was invented. The first water wheel invented by Leonardo Da Vinci. The first flushing toilets were invented. Super glue made. First colour tv invented.

3. Sports In the 1950’s baseball and boxing were getting more popular and more while golf and football (by football I mean American football) were still building. College football was more popular than pro football! Hockey was slowly getting bigger as well.

5. Fashion Choices were suits, sport coats, slacks, sweaters, or casual wear all in similar fabrics and styles. Women were sold on a certain body shape that would best fit the latest fashions and that shape was a thin waist with defined hips and a larger but very defined and shapely bust. In the 1940’s were made out of thread and needle. But after world war 2, in the 1950’s they made new better fabrics with higher quantities.
