4. Why Profile Professor Clark? I chose to profile Professor Clark because she is one of my current professors that has incorporated different modes of teaching through things like online blogs, online Spanish labs, Blackboard learn, and email. The purpose behind this profile was to determine why she uses online methods of teaching, whether or not they are effective, and if it shows results in the student’s success. I figured she would be a great candidate for a profile that reaches out to audiences of teachers, professors, students of all grade levels, and maybe even parents. This profile is informative because it proves that not all students learn through lectures and chalkboards. Another point is that grades on effort don’t prove intelligence.

5. What is Blackboard Learn? Blackboard learn is an online learning environment that allows collaboration with student information systems and authentication protocols. It’s basically online learning. It holds special features for communication such as announcements, chat rooms, discussions and mail. As far as the learning, it holds assessments, assignments, gradebooks, calendars, and course contents. Why teachers use it? Lets find out!

13. Conclusion As far as all teachers using online methods of learning and Blackboard, it’s really up to them. As well as students preferring or liking online homework and assignments, it’s all up to them. Online websites for learning is just another creative way to express and discuss what you’ve learned in the classroom. It’s also a way of getting information faster without having to actually meet with your professor. It’s all really available for facilitating and enhancing learning.
