2 Facts Here are some facts about tigers. No two tigers have the same two pattern on their face. A tigers paw is like a house cats but much bigger. A tiger is the cats family. A tiger is about three and half men long or en feet.

3 Different types of Tigers The Bengal tiger or the Royal Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris tigris) — the wild population is less than 2000 Indochinese tiger (Panthera tigris corbetti) — the wild population varies between 1,200 to 1,800 The Malayan tiger (Panthera tigris jacksoni) — the wild population is 600-800 The Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatran) — the wild population is 400-500

4 More types of tigers The Siberian tiger (Panthera tigris altaica) — the wild population is 450-500 The South China tiger (Panthera tigris amoyensis) — 59 known in captivity thought to extinct in wild The Balinese tiger (Panthera tigris balica) The Javan tiger (Panthera tigris sondaica) The Caspian tiger or Persian Tiger (Panthera tigris virgata) The Trinil tiger (Panthera tigris trinilensis)
