To start.... Rimini has a lot of ancient monuments which tell a great history. The Augustus Arch, the Tiberius Bridge, the Amphitheatre, the surgeon's house. Maurizio Biordi, Museo della Città, Rimini http://www.museicomunalirimini.it An ancient heart beats within the walls of Rimini. The town's history is told not only by its ancient monuments, but also by the Museum housed in the 18th century former Jesuit College. Though being the heir to collections which began to be assembled in the 19th century, the Civic Museum actually only came into being in 1981, thanks to a project which brings together items dating from prehistoric to contemporary times. There are more than 1,500 items on display in this 'house of memories', a mirror to an area whose roots lie in the encounter between land and sea Bratislava 18-19 november
So a lot of european projects in charge of Municipality of Rimini are linked to this important heritage. I will speak about three of these: Maurizio Biordi, Museo della Città, Rimini.

Ixone Palmou, Museo della Città, Rimini. Project CUSTODES
Coordinated by Province of Rimini (IT), CUSTODES focuses on the development of tourist products specifically created for cultural sites in smal centres, usually excluded from main tourism flows, but benefitting from the proximity of well known tourism destinations. Therefore CUSTODES will develp and apply new models and concepts for increasing tourism accessibility and attractiveness in cultural sites with historical importance, but not fully exploited yet, implementing pilot actions focusing on archeological sites, castles and fortresses.
