El Salvador is located in Central America, bordering the Pacific Ocean, Between Guatemala and Honduras

White – The land in between the bodies of water, and peace/prosperity Coat Of Arms - based on the former blue-white-blue flag of the Federal Republic of Central America

5 El salvador Major Religion Monetary System The major religion in El Salvador is Roman Catholic at 57.1% of the population On January 1, 2001, the country introduced the U.S. dollar as its new official currency, but still uses Colons in a coin form. (100 cents = 1 colon)

6 Climate The climate consists of a rainy season (May to October), and a dry season (November to April). Also its Tropical on the coast.

9 Tourism : Unlike its neighboring countries El Salvador isn’t really a touring hot spot. This is surprising considering its beautiful tropical forests and pristine beaches. Majority of these things come from the US. Expors: El Salvador's exports consist of re- exports, coffee, textiles, garments, sugar, seafood.
