l MISSION STATEMENT The Center for New Media ’ s purpose is to offer career-based, industry-standard instruction for students to ensure each has theknowledge, skills, and experience needed for successfulemployment in the new media industry.It provides a creative and open learning environment by allowingstudents to combine coursework to achieve certificates andassociates degrees in animation, game art, graphic design,illustration, web design, time-based media and web productiontechnology..

ANM 104 DESIGN THEORY & PRACTICE Course Description In this course the history of illustration will be examined from beforethe invention of the printing press to present, including poster,advertising art, cartooning, comics, science fiction, 3-dimensionalillustrations and the illustration of children ’ s books. A survey of contemporary and historical illustration techniques and movementswill also be studied.

ANM 104 DESIGN THEORY & PRACTICE Introductions I have milked a cow.Currently I own 6 Guitars, 2 Mandolins, 1 Octave Mandolin, 1 IrishBouzouki, 2 Fiddles, 2 Celtic Harps and 1 Baby Grand Piano.In the 1970 ’ s I played guitar and sang in a folk music group.
