3. The main purpose of this image is to try to get people to stop smoking and to show that smoking can take years off of your life.

7. The audience of this is anyone that smokes or anyone who knows someone that smokes.

9. The appeal to pathos is that it touches people they may have lost family members or friends at a young age due to smoking.

11. The appeal to ethos is very negative towards smoking because it happens all around us and kills so many people.

13. The appeal to logos is hidden in this. The filter goes up to about the 18 mark which is the legal age to purchase cigarettes.
