2. Our school Primary School number 3 in Żory Our school was founded in 1973. There are about 470 students (ages 6-13) and 40 teachers at our school. We have two computer laboratories, 18 other classrooms designed for different subjects and 5 interactive ready-for-use boards, two gyms and the outdoor playing area for small children, the playground and football pitch.

11. Karol Wojtyla Karol Wojtyla was born on May 18, 1920 in October 16, 1978 he became Pope – John Paul II.

12. Maria Sklodowska-Curie Born November 7, 1867. Discovered the elements radium and polonium. Won The Noble Prize twice.

14. Fryderyk Chopin Fryderyk Chopin 1810 - 1849. He was a very famous composer.

15. Lech Walesa The creator of "Solidarity". Polish President in the years 1990 to 1995.

17. Traditions Smigus Dyngus known as wet Monday - old Polish tradition celebrated on the Monday after Easter. Boys pour water on girls.
