2 Annotation  Presentation: Quality evaluation process in eTOD (electronic terrain and obstacle data) Database  Panelist: Jaroslav Zemek – RIGTC Zdiby, CZ  The presentation will inform about the achievements of RIGTC Zdiby - CZ, in the solution of the project "The Assurance and Assessment of Aerial Obstacles Quality". This project was solved for the Czech Ministry of Transportation in 2009 and 2010. It represents the first practical application of the ISO 19100 Series for Geographic information in aviation branch. The primary aim of this Project was to develop the technology for specification, ensuring, assessment and publishing the quality of the aerial obstacle data in accordance with Commission Regulation (EC) Nr. 73/2010, ICAO Annex 15, national legislation and with all key standards and norms of ISO 19100 Series - Geographic information related to quality and metadata. 13.9.2011EuroGeographics QKEN webinar

26 Conclusions – future development 13.9.2011EuroGeographics QKEN webinar  Technology:  is proven by the users and is compatible with recent system of AIS of the Czech Republic  is ready for application without significant financial bardens  will consolidate several AO databases being operated recently in CZ into unified, central and standardized one  will satisfy user needs for next about 5 years  creates the solid base for further development (DIGEST and FACC, AIXM v. 5.1, UUID etc.)  Proposals for future development:  Streamlining of technologies, field survey of data with higher level of integrity (10 -5 ), wireless field data transfer, optimization of processes, additional functionalities for Quality checks etc.  Integration of eTOD with other state information systems and GIS, databases and registers  Full exchangability with European Aeronautical Database (EAD)  Application of new digital geospatial data, especially from laser scanning of CZ territory  English language localization  Questions?
