Develop plans for assessment and evaluation at the program level and at the institution level 4. Coalesce the institutions working on SOS into a cohesive and collaborative network that is actively sharing information and content

5. Goals and Objectives 1. Determine the future direction for the SOS program - Prioritize technical improvements for SOS System - Inform NOAA on future investments in the SOS program

Determine the best format of and topics for future content - Determine appropriate roles for NOAA, NASA, and other content providers * Prioritize investment: make vast data resources available for content creation OR create a few, fully produced “movies” or stories with scripts, reference material, context, etc. - Create guidelines for the production of SOS content - Develop an understanding of the challenges SOS institutions encounter when trying to create content or render content - Discuss cross-platform compatibility - Determine the ease, feasibility and costs associated with the creation of SOS-ready content from existing data visualization production lines.
