1 Ice Breaker #1 1.Identify in your own mind that one person outside this group who you think knows you better than anyone else (e.g., your mother/father, wife/husband, sister/brother, a close friend, etc.) 2.Using the Best Friend Introduction Sheet, introduce yourself as you would expect your “best friend” to do it. Other information not on the sheet may also be added to the introduction (apx. 2 min each).

2 Ice Breaker #1 1.You will also write a short poem about yourselves and then sharing the poem with the class 2.Each poem is to be at least four lines long and must include your name and some information about your personality, interests, occupation, life style, etc. E.g., My hobby is watching IU games/My name is Mary Baggins/I teach at IU Information Commons/And I live with cats & dogs 3.10 minutes to come up with a poem, and if you’d like, you can share it with a neighbor and get feedback
