2.  All biomes are influenced by abiotic factors, such as light, temperature, precipitation and type of soil. These abiotic factors influence the variety of organisms that are able to survive in the area. WHAT ARE SOME BIOTIC AND ABIOTIC COMPONENTS SHARED BY BIOMES?

3. WHAT ADAPTATIONS HELP ORGANISMS SURVIVE IN DIFFERENT BIOMES?  Adaptations include teeth, claws, fangs, talons, spines, toxins, foot structure, etc.

4. HOW DO ADAPTATIONS HELP DIFFERENT ORGANISMS SURVIVE IN DIFFERENT BIOMES?  Adaptations help an organism survive by increasing the ability to get food or to keep from being food.

5. HOW DO DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTS HELP TO SUPPORT DIFFERENT VARIETIES OF ORGANISMS?  Providing for basic needs through favorable climates, vegetation for shelter and food, location for shelter and space

6. WOULD A MICROHABITAT, SUCH AS A SCHOOLYARD, HELP TO SUPPORT DIFFERENT VARIETIES OF ORGANISMS IN THE SAME WAY AS ONE OF THE BIOMES WE STUDIED?  Regardless of the locations, the diversity of the area should provide basic needs for organisms
