5 MO’s K-16 Initiative The Missouri K-16 Task Force on Achievement Gap Elimination (K-16 TAGE) was created to make policy recommendations that would improve teacher quality in an effort to close achievement gaps among under-represented students. Research conducted for the K-16 TAGE showed that poor and minority students as well as students in urban school districts in Missouri had below average performance on a variety of outcome measures and had teachers with below average academic ability.

21 Student Loan Default Research Student loan default research is focused on determining characteristics of students who are more likely to default on their student loans. Students who remain continuously enrolled in college, eventually complete degrees, and have a lower debt burden upon exiting college are less likely to default on their student loans.
