6. 1 st Result : Situation analysis and adoption of a National Action Plan on Migration 2 nd Result : Establishment of institutional mechanisms and participatory processes to support the formulation of the National Action Plan and to ensure consistency and sustainability of M&D policies 3 rd Result: Strengthening the capabilities of the stakeholders on the analysis and formulation of policies on migration and development, harnessing the potential of migration to contribute to Tunisia’s social and economic development Initiative Tunisia Expected Results

7.  Evaluation of the political and institutional setting and its consistency with M&D  Analysis of migration trends and their links to the priorities of development from a gender, age, diversity and human rights perspective  Organization of a joint consultation for regional and national authorities, in coordination with the ICMD project partners  Preparing a National Action Plan on M&D involving government institutions, civil society and stakeholders from the private sector (including representatives of the workers and employers’ organizations)  Approval of the National Action Plan and its monitoring and evaluation system by the stakeholders involved  A working group on M&D has been created and its members are holding regular meetings in order to develop the National Action Plan on M&D  A system of monitoring and evaluating has been set up and is operational. Its task is to assess the capabilities of Tunisia to manage the field of M&D in a consistent and efficient manner Initiative Tunisia - Activities

Study on the impact of migration on the migrants' families back home Primary partners: Office of Tunisians Abroad and Institute of National Statistics Objectives: Analyze the impact of migration on the lives of migrants’families left behind in areas with large migration flows, which will focus on their health status, their socio-economic situation and their perception of their rights, is conducted Proposing a health and socio-economic programme in favour of these families Mainstreaming Migration into Development Planning
