2. Jose Fuentes is originally from the beautiful country of el Salvador a area found in the region of central America. El salvador disregarding it’s beauty is a place of hardship as people seek economic opportunity that many can only dream of (push factor) this leads to the American dream many hope for creating emigrates day in and day out.

3. Jose came to the u.s. when he was only 15 years old bringing the will and youth with him to work, learn and truly use the opportunity presented to him. Many people like Jose come at different time periods all having the same in common the determination to succeed in this new land

4. Jose didn’t leave because he just wanted to. like him and many others he was forced and pushed out of his country because of the armed conflict that endangered him tremulously but no only the danger but the lack of financial support that he need to comply to his basic needs

5. Many come to America for the opportunity that would be presented to them along with these people is Jose. Jose became one of the only family members to go to high school giving him a ray of hope that he would be able to receive a job and send remittance back to his homeland and family

6. Jose like many others was pushed or “lead” to a certain area and like for others José came to Massachusetts because of the family that was currently living there at the time. Here is where after so much time he was able to meet up with the eldest of his 8 brothers and sisters Elias

7. Like I’ve mentioned before José was only 15 when he came to the u.s still developing his skills he offered what he could which was his determination and will to work. This is not always the case as brain drain is the game that most areas rely on this is how skill and talent is transferred from on area to another

8. Jose’s story didn’t star that well his job at the time was causally student José lived in a country of poverty not giving him the sufficient education to receive any type of job. This is a rare commodity as when jose left his country he was only ounce again 15.

9. Jose, in the end had a drastic change in his future he had graduated collage and had received further education in computer based subjects leading to his success in finding a job as a computer administrator. This is a perfect example of what immigrants look for in the united states José who left at 15 with a limited education found promise and hope as he received an education and made life livable and more enjoyable for him and his family

10. As José had explained he found just adapting to the new life the he was waking into thing like the language and culture

11. Jose sys that the best part of his life changing story was when after many years had finally meet up with his older brother Elias
