2. Geography Sichuan accounts for 5.1% of China’s landmass It is 4,000 meters above sea level in the Western area, where the mountains and plateaus are situated. It’s 1,000 to 3,000 meters in the Eastern section. It has an area of 567,000 square kilometers.

3. Climate The climate in Sichuan is very odd. Completely different in the west and east parts, it is humid in the east side, receives lots of rainfall and has a n extremely long frost-free period. The western area receives less rainfall due to the mountains and has completely different climates in the north and south area

4. Tourist Attractions Sichuan is a very interesting place. For starters, you could go see the Panda Breeding and Researching Center, one of the world’s most famous and best panda preservation centers You also visit Sichuan’s Big Buddha, which is the biggest stone-carved Buddha in the world. Taking over 90 years to carve, it is featured in many poems and songs.

5. Food Sichuan is the Chinese version of Mexico. Having almost all their dishes based on hot peppers, they’re especially fond of Chilies. Strangely, they like garlic also. Some examples of their dishes are Kung Pao Chicken, and Shuizhu Niurou, which is steamed beef with a variety of seasonings and spices.
