2 Class Procedures Students will be grouped in threes for this lab.
Make sure that you have a pencil. You will be receiving a worksheet on terms for probability.

3 Worksheet Activity Students are to access the following website:  Students are to complete the worksheet using the information from this website. Wait for teacher instructions when finished.

4 Probability Terms Worksheet Part One
Fill in the correct term with each sentence: Word Bank: Event, Experiment, Outcome, Probability ___________ is a situation involving chance or probability that leads to results called outcomes. ___________ is the result of a single trial of an experiment. ____________ is one or more outcomes of an experiment. __________ is the measure of how likely an event is.

After teacher distributes probability bags, answer the question that is given on the card inside the bag. Answers will be recorded on the card in the bag using the following terms: Word Bank: Certain, Impossible, Likely, Unlikely

What are some examples of probability in today’s society? Think of something at your home where you could test probability and explain to the class how you would do it? Final thoughts…..
