9 Educator TA Certification Standards ★ Required for all beginning teachers. ★ Incorporated into the assessments for Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities. ★ Based on 6-8 Technology Applications TEKS. 18 Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund (TIF) ★ The TIF Board facilitates the implementation of telecommunications infrastructure for universal connectivity. ★ Priority for funds are given to rural and underserved populations. Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund

19 T-Star Network ★ Established in 1989 ★ Provided a T-STAR/TVRO (Television Receive Only) satellite dish and receiver to each school district. ★ T-STAR Information and Training Center provides training and support. ★ Broadcasts digitally. T-Star Network

23 Texas Library Connection ★ Resource-sharing system. ★ Facilitation of local collection development. ★ Provides access to databases, such as full text journals and newspapers. ★ Established in 1993. Texas Library Connection
