4. There, their and they’re Rule
Copy these rules if you haven’t already:
There has two uses
It shows a place: It was over there.
It is used with verbs: There are, there is, etc.
Their means something belongs to them.
They’re is an abbreviation of ‘they are’.

5. Extension Work Write out this passage in your jotter with corrections:
“There over their, “ whispered the cop.
“There not. That’s not there car,” said the secret agent. Their was a look of determination in his eyes. “Besides, I can see there footprints in the mud over there, going that direction,” he added.
Their were now a load of cops their but they obviously had their hands full with crowd that was gathering. At least this time they had the secret agent on they’re side.
