2. Your task Get in pairs Look at one or two of the “flyer design” links on the course website home page and take 10 or so minutes trying to recreate that flyer. You don’t have to finish, by any means. Just get through a few steps.

3. Your Task Now, you’re going to create your own flyer in photoshop based on a client case study I provide you with. This needs to be a finished product that you save to a USB or to Dropbox. Note: for the purposes of this assignment, create your OWN logo even though your clients will already have logos. Your logo does not have to be fancy.

4. Your client Your client is the Center for Creative Photography on the UA campus Mission: The CCP needs to create a flyer to advertise to students about an upcoming exhibit because this new exhibit appeals to young students, and the CCP has trouble getting students to come to exhibits Audience: UA students Information: Because this is a special exhibit, it costs $10 per person. The exhibit will be open from 10 am – 3 pm on March 28 & 29 only. The exhibit is a series by Barbara Brandel (http://www.barbarabrandelartist.com/index.html)

5. Requirements You must create a flyer for your client that suits their needs, mission, and the audience. Our class will serve as the “board” that decides who they would choose as the best designers. That pair of students will receive 2 points extra credit. Notes: You can only use stock photos, images you create yourself, or images with no attribution requirements Consider the visual design principles we discussed in class, such as visual coherence, visual salience, CRAP Consider the “business style” lessons you read about for homework Tailor to your audience while representing the client well!
