2  1) Physical – how you look, your appearance, what you wear, your hair style, your accessories, etc.  2) Emotional – how you react to various situations: something funny, something scary, something intimidating, something serious, etc.  3) Personality – your values, your beliefs, your moods, your outlook on things, perspectives, quirks, mannerisms, etc.

3  Your character grows and changes over time.  Experience can change all three dimensions of a character.  The best way to describe character is through adjectives – which are words that describe a noun.  Choose three famous (appropriate) characters. Develop a character sketch chart for each of them. You should have ten adjectives per dimension.

5  You are going to write a character sketch for a peer. You need to describe that peer three dimensionally. You really need to think about the person, or yourself, in a serious manner in order to do this. What is your character?  If there was an audition for your role, who would you want to play you? Why? Who would best bring out your character?
