1 (lungs and breathing apparatuses)

2 What is the respiratory system main function?  Its function is to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide between an organism and its surroundings

3 What organs, tissues and cell types are involved in the systems functions?  The organs involved are: Nostril, Nasal cavity, Nasopharynx, Larynx, Trachea, Bronchi, Bronchiole, Alveoli.  The tissues involved are: Epithelial tissue, connective tissue, Muscle tissue, and Nerve tissues.  The cells involved are: Pseduostratified Columnar Epithelial Cells, Ciliated Simple Columnar Epithelial Cells.

4 How do they all function together? They function together when air enters the mouth or nasal cavity, then travels down the Trachea into the bronchus, apart of the lung, then down the broncholi where the oxygen in the air is exchanged for carbon dioxide and the then the oxygen is given to the blood and the carbon dioxide is exhaled.
