3 Providing immediate support through HELPLINE to women in distress Facilitate women in distress Providing immediate counseling services Linking and referring to various institutions like Police, Shelter homes, hospitals, Lawyers etc for emergency purposes

4 GBV Introduction Gender-based violence (GBV) is a violation of human rights and a form of discrimination. It is defined as violence that is directed against a person on the basis of gender. Gender-based violence reflects and reinforces inequalities between men and women.  Gender-based violence includes: Domestic violence, sexual harassment, rape, forced marriages and honor crimes Trafficking in women Physical, Sexual or Psychological harm.

5 Purpose of the GBV helpline Survivors direct access to Help line. Information provided at least 200 survivors per month. Counseling provided at least 75 survivors per month. Referral Services Provided to at least 100 survivors per month
