3 Era and People Traditionalists: born prior to 1946 (>61) –Brand and retail store loyal, like classic items with a new twist Baby Boomers: born 1946-64 (42 - 60) –Love to experiment but are strapped for time, many into upgraded kitchens and gourmet food Generation X: born 1965-81 (25 - 41) –They hate to be “sold to” but they want to be educated Net-Geners/Millenials: born 1982-2000 (6 -24) –Like to make buying decisions over the web

4 Today’s digital kids think of information and communications technology (ICT) as something akin to oxygen: they expect it, it’s what they breathe, and it’s how they live. They use ICT to meet, play, date, and learn.
