Web-based publicity  2006 Action: Establishment of R10 GOLD Home Pages & Links (http://ewh.ieee.org/reg/10/gold/). Web-based GOLD Tools  2006 Action: Have not been accomplished. Local level GOLD Activities  2006 Action: 68 events has been reported from R10 GOLD Affinity Groups in 2006.

9 Activities for 2007 l to improve the health of all the local GOLD Affinity Groups. l To increase the awareness of local GOLD activities by R10 GOLD Website and creating a newsletter (together with WIE). l To increase the value of being the GOLD members by a web-based Seminar and organizing local events. l Call for organizers for the next GOLD congress 2008. 10 Continuing Strategies for promoting GOLD Activity in R10 for 2006  2007 1.Regional support for international GOLD activities in R10. Organize Web-based Seminar  2007 Action: Madras Section GOLD Affinity group will set up. Organize the next R10 GOLD Congress in 2008  2007 Action: Call for organizers for the next GOLD congress (SAC/GOLD/WIE).

Others Bi-monthly GOLD chair virtual meetings will be organized, so that all the GOLD chapters present in Region 10 can be made active. Developing a Internet Forum to keep in touch for the GOLD and Student Branches. A R10 calendar highlighting significant events available at each country. Taking GOLD to rural population. Increase GOLD Volunteers strength through introduction of “ local GOLD activities ”.
