2 District 7570 The Rotary Foundation Assistant Governor’s Role Help Presidents-elect set Foundation Goals - Cooperative effort with Foundation Advocate  Annual Giving and Polio  Due at PETS – April 9 th  Work with them prior to PETS  Use 5-year history as a guide

3 District 7570 Foundation Goals Each Club must turn in a copy of their Foundation Goals at PETS!  Enter into Club Central  Bring hard copy with them to PETS

4 District 7570 The Rotary Foundation Goals End Polio – Now and Forever Strengthen Rotarians’ knowledge, engagement & financial support of TRF Increase quality & impact of Rotary’s humanitarian services Enhance image & awareness of TRF Record of Achievements

5 District 7570 District Foundation Goals Increase giving to TRF  Increase AF giving to $140 per capita  25 additional PHS members  10 additional 100% EREY clubs  +20% MD/Major Gifts/Bequest giving Increase PolioPlus giving  Transfer at least 20% DDF  Clubs/Rotarians giving aver $25 per capita Increase club involvement in District & Global Grants  20% more clubs involved in District Grants  20% more clubs involved in Global Grants

10 Foundation Training Encourage club representative to attend District Training Assembly in Roanoke on April 25 for Grants Management - Foundation training. Assistant Governor & Foundation Advocate joint training – DTA, April 25 Encourage President-Elect to attend fall Grants Management - Foundation training – dates TBD.

11 District 7570 Club Foundation Chair Have each club identify their Foundation Chair on their Club Roster on DaCdb by 6/15/15.

12 District 7570 Foundation Advocates Team with your Foundation Advocates!!  Their goal is to give at least one club presentation during the year & Foundation stories/links throughout year – encourage your clubs to invite them!  Answer Foundation questions  Offer to let them sit in on your president’s meetings

13 District 7570 Keep Clubs on Track November is Rotary Foundation Month – there will be a Foundation Banquet 11/14 Encourage clubs to recognize those who donate – make it special Encourage clubs & Rotarians to make regular TRF contributions – set example Clubs who bill sustainer contributions with their dues must remit the Foundation sustainer contributions quarterly.
