Apply to complete the tasks by creating notes on the subjects and highlight the relevant PowerPoint handouts (individual) and as a group write up the table identify different services that all of you have used. 5. What you need to do to be successful in this portfolio unit! You will need to focus on services that are from one sector in the local community. All of your investigation within the unit will relate to the one sector you have chosen, to include: 1. The range of care needs of major client groups and why they may need the services. 2. The ways people can obtain services in the sector chosen and the possible barriers that could prevent people from gaining access to the services. 3. The different types of services in the sector that exist to meet different needs of individuals and how they are developed and organized. 4. The principles of care that underpin all care work with clients. 5. The main work roles and skills of people who provide health, social care and early years services.

You must also present your work in an appropriate format using evidence that is relevant to the investigation you have decided to carry out. You must include: A plan or checklist An evaluation: aim objectives effectiveness conclusions Improvements that could be made A bibliography

7. When you start your planning under controlled assessment conditions ! You will need to start a plan for the investigation of the sector you have chosen. You will need to follow this plan after the teaching has been completed and before starting the controlled assignment.
