4 When Do You Use Your Feeling Senses? Y ou may not know but everyone uses their feeling sense everyday. 5 Which parts of your fingers are sensitive? Some areas of the body are more sensitive than others because they have more nerve endings. It is easy to burn your mouth when you eat something really hot. Your fingertips are also very sensitive.

6 Have you ever bitten your tongue and wondered why it hurt so much? It is because the sides of your tongue have a lot of nerve endings that are very sensitive to pain.

7 How do Blind people read? People who are blind use their fingertips to read Braille by feeling the patterns of raised dots on their paper.

8 Braille The Braille system was invented by Louis Braille. Louis felt that the most important thing for a blind person was that he or she have a way to read and write just as people with sight do.
