4 Types of Podcasts Type +- Audio Students can upload Inexpensive No visual information Screen capture Links audio and visual presentations Shows slides with voice More complicated Requires special software Difficult to correct mistakes on a slide Video Students can see the teacher or class Software and hardware More technical expertise Lecture Capture Systems Uses special software to match slides with voice Easier to edit because slides are connected to specific audio Need special software (Lectopia, MediaSite) which can be expensive AAMC Survey
