3 Provide timely and accurate around the clock weather intelligence and support to 3rd Wing and tenant units to facilitate Top Cover, Worldwide Airlift, and Combat Power Projection. Weather Flight Mission

4  Observe weather 24 hours a day, 365 days a year  Ensure accurate and timely forecasting services available to JBER  Initiate resource protection actions  Issue Warnings, Watches and Advisories for JBER  Assist aircrew mission planning and execution across Alaska and worldwide destinations  Assist wing leadership with mission execution and short, long-range planning Mission Essential Tasks
