5 SuccessMaker  We are pleased to announce that we will continue to have this software program available for use at home and school again this year. This program delivers structured and targeted intervention (online tutoring and practice) for individual students.  Your Math 7 student will be enrolled in the program, and after completing an initial placement test, will be expected to participate fully. Studies have shown that a minimum of 3 separate sessions throughout the week produce optimal results. Each session is only 20 minutes long, but yields growth if used correctly.  Please do NOT assist your student with any math problems while they are using the program. The software measures student success when working independently. Your student will miss needed instruction and practice if somebody answers for them or guides them through the process.  Please help to make sure that your student is completing the problems and not just “getting in their time” This is essential to the student seeing growth!
