 As you know trains are the most dependable form of transportation we know today.  The reason why I chose this topic was to do farther investigate on the history of trains and my four guiding questions in which will be displayed through my “Fun Fact” in this presentation

 My Guiding Questions  How did this technology improve throughout the years?  How do the transit organization look towards improving this technology?  How dose it works?  How does it effect the environment?

Roads of rails called Wagon ways were being used in Germany as early as 1550 consisted of: Wooden rails over which horse – drawn or carts moved with greater ease over dirt roads. KEY EVENT #1

Check out the “Fun Facts” One of my guiding question is, “How did this technology improve throughout the years?” My answer to that is, “ the technology of train has improved by going horse driven to Steam engine to diesel then later electric

Key Event #2  By 1776, iron was replace with wood (Still horse driven).  In 1789, Englishman, William Jessup designed first wagon flanged wheels.  This design carry over to steam engine trains

 My next Guiding Question is, “How dose Train technology work”?  My answer to that question is, “For many year trains were horse driven, but as the invention improve, train technology became more complex

  In 1803, a great inventor named George Stephenson created a steam powered train vehicle, in which was a huge impact on modern technology.  This technology was ran by coal in which produced steam Key Event #3

Check out the “Fun Fact”  Another one of my guiding question is, “How does train technology effect the environment ?”  In the early development of train technology it pollutes the air and deprives wild animals of their natural habitat  Environmental issue today would be the use of natural resources.

* In 1825, the Stockton & Darlington Railroad Company began as the first railroad to carry * Passenger * Goods * Based off the locomotive design

Check out the “Fun Fact”  My final guiding question is “How do they look towards improving train technology in the future”?  My answer to that is, The train technology of today is supreme compare to the old days, but for the only way to improve is to expand

 Around 1890, the diesel engine was patent by Rudolf Diesel  Trains in this point in era could hold more goods and passenger also traveling farther Key Event #5

CONCLUSION  As time goes forward the technology of trains improve, going to electric powered train and also looking for new and improved ideas.  During this presentation, I hope you understand more about train history and its developments  THIS TRAIN HAS LEFT THE STATION!!!
