2 Composting Awareness Presented by MN ZOO Volunteer Conservation Corps - Aid in the expansion of Zoo’s internal composting efforts -Interact with Zoo guests encouraging them to compost in proper onsite containers -Educate Zoo guests about home composting at various Zoo Special Events

3 Volunteers daily compost all lunch time food waste in the Education kitchen as part of the Zoo’s internal composting efforts

4 OctoberFest - Family Farm - 2012 Earth Day – Spring 2013

5 Engaging shoppers at Farmers Market – Summer 2013 Compostable cups at Tiger Tracks – 5K run

6 - Participated in 9 onsite events, 1 offsite event and 3 Farmers’ Market days - Volunteers invested 152 hours of program presentation time - 2352 direct contacts with event visitors “Composting Awareness” Accomplishments Thank you –
