5 Sharing Formative Assessment Cycle with Reflection built in Present your class Routine Do the Math for the specifics you will be presenting. Present Objective(s) and describe lesson Share the data ask a question about the data, give everyone time to observe the data. Have the participants share what they would do next. The sharing can be sky high or very practical. We need to do BOTH. Share what you did in response to the data.

6 TransFormative Assessment Reading Reflection Chapter 2: Learning Progressions.  The main idea here is that you need to be assessing as you go along towards a larger goal.  This goes beyond the scope of our work here so we are going to focus on Objectives for each lesson.

9 Proving ARRS Works The Study  You pick two distinct areas you want to assess using Skill Building Sets.  Area 1  Area 2  All your students get skill building on those two areas but:  Group A---Gets ARRS for Area 1  Group B---Gets ARRS for Area 2  We post test them 5 months late and see who knows the material best and by how much
