2 2. How do we love God? Love is a motive; it is a heart thing. The same action can be done for a variety of motives. 1) Offering to God everything we do. 2) Obeying Him in everything we do. 3) Doing everything in His presence. 4) Leaning on Him, or depending on Him. 5) Loving others. 3 3.Peter, do you love me? 1) Knowledge is not enough 2) Guilt is a poor foundation Because we love Him WWe joyfully follow Him. WWe joyfully keep His word. WWe joyfully put Him first. WWe joyfully stop doing what’s wrong or going our own way. WWe joyfully read the Bible, pray and worship; we joyfully come together to worship. 3
