It is very cold and many of the Pilgrims die.

5. Spring The Pilgrims meet an Indian named Squanto.
The Indians teach the Pilgrims to hunt, to grow corn, and to find nuts and berries.

6. The Pilgrims have a lot of corn, beans, and pumpkins.
Summer
The Pilgrims have a lot of corn, beans, and pumpkins.

7. Autumn The Pilgrims decide to have a feast and to invite the Indians.
The first Thanksgiving lasts 3 days. They eat, drink, and dance.

8. Today Americans still celebrate Thanksgiving.
They eat a big meal, go to parades, play football, go shopping, and spend time with their families.
