4 Computer Applications II (Periods 1 and 6) Business Computer Apps II builds upon the knowledge that was instilled in Business Computer Apps I. It is a prerequisite for Computer Programming and Advanced Computer Concepts. This class will prepare students for high school and college projects as well as for our ever-increasing technology savvy world. 7 Sports & Entertainment Marketing Periods 4.2 & 9 This course explores the skills needed for a career in marketing. Students learn about the key functions of marketing and how those functions are applied to the areas of sports and entertainment. The course will combine textbook, computer simulations, and Internet navigation to educate the students in the functions of marketing, concepts of leadership, finance, human resources, ethical and legal issues, product management, and customer relations. This course explores the skills needed for a career in marketing. Students learn about the key functions of marketing and how those functions are applied to the areas of sports and entertainment.
