3. Do they call upon you or do you go to them? Ballistic experts are called upon only if there was a fire arm fired. If not then they just do nothing. So they are called upon, they don’t call and ask if they should come and do their work. Cops got to them with police reports. That’s the one of the only times they are asked to use their expert abilities.
