Gov. Brad Davis has announced a most important membership GROWTH SUMMIT for all the members of Division 5 clubs. The purpose of this summit/seminar is to equip us with the tools and motivation to recruit new members and to retain them. In addition to "serving the children of the world," Kiwanis' most urgent goal is MEMBERSHIP GROWTH. It is hoped that all active members will attend this seminar at Jacksonville Univ. from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 on Saturday, January 24th. Doors will open at 8:00 and we will be out by 1:30. It is expected that ALL club officers, directors and committee chairs will attend--plus all other members who do not now have unbreakable commitments. Mark your calendars now for Saturday, 1/24th. January 8th - LAST WEEK’S HIGHLIGHTS Kiwanis International’s continuing service focus is called “Young Children: Priority One.” The Priority One Advisory Council is a group of more than 30 child- related organizations that advise Kiwanis on the Young Children: Priority One program and offer local partners to clubs for collaborative projects. Every Kiwanis club is urged to conduct at least one major Young Children: Priority One project each year. KIWANIS EDUCATION
