Click your mouse for next slide Dreamweaver – Creating New Pages Now use Ctrl + Shift + N to create new pages and rename them according to the headings you decided on for your home page NOTE: Avoid spaces in your filenames. If you have to use them use an underscore mark instead since many servers reject files with spaces. E.g. use recent_events for recent events

Click your mouse for next slide Dreamweaver – Creating New Pages When you have added all the files you want to go to the icon in the upper left hand corner and switch to Site Map view If you se nothing click on the icon to the immediate left of the site map icon to return to the file view. Now right click the green icon of the index file and choose Set as Home Page Now try the site map icon again

8. Click your mouse for next slide Dreamweaver – Creating New Pages You will see a new icon created. Go back and right click the index file and choose another of your files. Repeat until you have all your files included in your site map

9. Click your mouse for next slide Dreamweaver – Creating New Pages You can check on the pages by double clicking them. You will notice that if you double click the index page you will see that a number of links have already been created. If you double click the other pages, you will not see any links. To create links on these pages click once on the page then click on the little circle that pops up on the right side of the icon and drag to the page you want to link to.
