3 What are troublesome feelings?

4 Troublesome Feelings Are strong feelings that can cause problems for you or make you feel overwhelmed.

5 Turn to “Help for Troublesome Feelings” Three common troublesome feelings that many teens experience are listed on this page. Read the directions and complete columns 2 and 3. We will discuss your answers as soon as you are finished.

7 What are some healthy ways to deal with hatred?

8 What are some situations to which a person might feel lonely?

9 What are some healthy ways to deal with loneliness?

10 What are some situations in which a person might feel depressed?

11 What are some healthy ways to deal with depression?

12 It’s time to get help with troublesome feelings when: You feel overwhelmed. You feel you are going to lose control. You are worried about what you will do to yourself or others.

13 Complete the “Help for Troublesome Feelings” worksheet.

14 Ask and Discuss With whom could you talk if you had feelings of hatred? With whom could you talk if you had feelings of loneliness? With whom could you talk if you felt depressed?
