4. What Can You Do? Talk with your child about their day. Work on organizational skills and time management at home. Inform school of special circumstances. Volunteer to help. Keep a calendar at home for long-term assignments. Check your child’s assignment book regularly. Don’t accept “I did it at school” when asking your child about their homework.
