6 Urban Dictionary.com: Respect means valuing each others’ points of views. It means being open to being wrong. It means accepting people as they are. It means not dumping on someone because you're having a bad day. It means being polite and kind always, because being kind to people is not negotiable. It means not dissing people because they're different from you. It means not gossiping about people or spreading lies. Dictionary.com: Esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability. 10 Be on task and engaged during instruction and work times. Take charge of your learning! Active learners are the most successful. Turn work in on time. Make up missed work. Be on time for class, every day!

11 Bring pencil, paper and binder every day to class. These are YOUR learning materials. Treat them respectfully, please. Don’t waste supplies. Be careful with books. 12 Electronics are to be off and out of sight (unless being used for a specific learning activity). Cell phones will be collected by me, taken to the office, and available for pickup after school. Hall passes are required. Update Falcon Facilitators every Monday, every class.

14 You will make mistakes. It’s ok… we’re all learners! Set goals, and know that you can reach them. Set boundaries with those who are disrespectful. Don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself. Just do it respectfully. Be able to say “I’m sorry” whenever you need to.
