2 Supplies A 3-subject in-class “Reader’s Notebook” A 3-subject in-class “Writer’s Notebook” A single subject TAKE HOME writing notebook 2 paper folders, one for each class 1,000,000 sticky notes 1,000,000 pens and pencils Donations of White-Out and Kleenex A POSITIVE, PERSEVERING attitude!

3 80% assessments (tests, quizzes, projects) 20% practices (in-class and homework)

4 PROFICIENT re-teach and re-test are not necessary NOT YET PROFICIENT re-teach and re-test are necessary Reading and Writing Skills Rubric 4 exemplary proficient The student demonstrates mastery with this skill. There are no significant errors. The student’s work shows an ability to complete any similar task. 3 basic proficient The student demonstrates the skill at a basic level with no significant errors. 2 progressing The student makes some significant errors when working towards this skill, but demonstrates a developing understanding of the skill. 1 beginning The student demonstrates some understanding of this skill with help, but struggles while working independently. 0 no evidence No judgment can be made about the student’s ability to demonstrate the skill. There is no evidence.
