People depend on disease breakthroughs to manage their health. Scientists may use people in their tests/trials. People used in experiments might be exploited or exposed to known dangers if the scientists do not behave ethically.

10. Lab Techniques p. 15 We use microscopes to study microscopic organisms “little critters”. Because these organisms include bacteria it is much more important to use sterile techniques. Sterile techniques, are methods that keep unwanted organisms out of a lab to reduce risk of contamination.
