8 8 12/09/12 Anthea Hollist Business Benefit 1 Fills skill gaps and shortages Share of skill shortages and gaps for administrative occupations are 7% and 11% respectively Higher Apprenticeship has been developed by employers, for employers so develops the skills relevant to business (UK Commissions Employer Skills Survey 2011: UK Results) Access to talent Estimates show that by 2020 44% of administrative occupations will need to be replaced This Higher Apprenticeship enables employers to access new talent pools as they look to meet that growing demand for skilled entrants. (Working Futures 2010-2020)
