2. Highlights of the Agreement  2% Salary Bonus for 2012-2013, payable before June 30, 2013  Ongoing 1.25% Salary Restoration, 2013 and beyond  New Salary Schedule will be created and distributed  District will absorb health and welfare increases for 2012- 2014

Highlights of the Agreement Continued  A one year MOU agreement stating that a “Progressive Discipline Model” will be followed  Initial discipline must include a written warning NOT placed in unit member’s personnel file  Unit member has the right to respond in writing  The unit member has a right to have a representative present at all stages of the progressive discipline process  All written notices must be based on substantiated evidence

4. State Budget  New State funding formula  Based on number of Free and Reduced lunches  EL students  What it means to us…  Faster restoration  (if that’s what you call it)

5. Where do we go from here?  Waiting…  Bargaining Continues…  How much more will we put on?  What happens with furlough days?

6. Recommendations Majority of the Executive Board Recommends a “YES” vote Executive Board Unanimously recommend a “YES” vote Bargaining Committee

Voting Process Instructions, ballots, envelopes and signature sheets will be distributed to your site reps When voting, it is very important that you sign in when you submit your vote If the number of ballots do not equal the number of signatures, your school site’s votes will NOT count Ballots and signatures must be submitted to the WETA office by Friday 5/17/13 at 4:30PM
